About Rennes

Stade Rennais were founded in 1901, and Brittany's flagship club plays at Roazhon Park, where the Breton flag flies as proudly as the red and black. Rennes are French football's patient project: rarely champions, never dull.

The 2019 Coupe de France, won on penalties against PSG after trailing 2-0, ended a 48-year trophy wait and gave the Route de Lorient its greatest night. Champions League football followed in 2020 for the first time.

The academy is the club's crown: Ousmane Dembele, Eduardo Camavinga and Desire Doue all left Rennes for the elite, and the production line is the envy of France. Les Rouge et Noir sell their best and keep coming back better.
