About Getafe

Getafe CF in their current form were founded in 1983 in the industrial south of Madrid, and their rise from the regional leagues to consecutive decades of top-flight football is one of Spanish football's quiet success stories.

The club's European adventure in 2007/08 remains its high-water mark: a UEFA Cup quarter-final against Bayern Munich that stands among the competition's great ties, Getafe seconds from the semi-final before losing in extra time. Two Copa del Rey finals in three years announced the club nationally.

Under coaches like Michel and Jose Bordalas, Getafe made themselves the opponent nobody enjoys, organised, physical and proudly awkward. The Coliseum crowd would not have it any other way.

This is a live calendar subscription, not a one-off download. Your calendar app checks the feed on its own schedule, so when the La Liga moves a Getafe match for television, or a new round of fixtures is confirmed, the changes appear in your calendar without you doing anything.
