About AS Roma

AS Roma were formed in 1927 from a merger of three Roman clubs, and the giallorossi, in the deep red and gold of the eternal city, have carried Rome's southern half ever since. The Curva Sud is one of European football's great stages.

Three scudetti, the last delivered in 2001 by Batistuta, Montella and the king of Rome himself, Francesco Totti, punctuate a history richer in passion than in silverware. Totti's one-club career, 25 seasons and 307 goals, made him the most beloved Roman since the emperors.

Jose Mourinho brought the club's first European trophy, the 2022 Conference League, and the Olimpico's full-throated response showed what any success unleashes here. The Derby della Capitale against Lazio remains one of the fiercest fixtures in world football.
