About London City Lionesses

London City Lionesses were founded in 2019 as the first fully independent club in the top two tiers of English women's football, unattached to any men's institution, a proof of concept the whole sport watched.

Michele Kang's 2023 purchase brought multi-club backing and serious investment, and the reward came in 2025: the Championship title and promotion to the WSL for the first time, sealed with marquee signings arriving to make the step up stick.

Hayes Lane in Bromley is home, the badge is a lioness unbothered by tradition, and the project, women's football built for women's football, makes London City the most closely watched newcomers in the league.

Subscribe once, never miss a kick-off

This is a live calendar subscription, not a one-off download. Your calendar app checks the feed on its own schedule, so when the Women's Super League moves a London City Lionesses match for television, or a new round of fixtures is confirmed, the changes appear in your calendar without you doing anything.
