About Arsenal Women

Arsenal Women, founded in 1987, are the most decorated club in English women's football, with a trophy haul, including a record run of league titles and FA Cups, no rival approaches. The 2007 quadruple, crowned by the UEFA Cup, stands among the great seasons anywhere.

The modern era brought the move of regular fixtures to the Emirates and with it record crowds, 60,000 turning the north London derby into the biggest club occasion in the women's game.

The crowning achievement came in 2025: the Champions League won again, eighteen years after the first, beating holders Barcelona in the final in Lisbon. Kelly, Russo and Blackstenius wrote themselves into a lineage that runs back through Kelly Smith to the pioneers.
