AS Roma Women were founded in 2018 and needed only five seasons to break Juventus's monopoly, winning the 2023 scudetto and retaining it in 2024, the capital's first championships in the women's game.

Giacinti, Giugliano and Linari led sides that added Coppa Italia wins and a Champions League quarter-final, with the Tre Fontane's curva providing the soundtrack and the Olimpico opening for the biggest European nights.

The giallorosse's rise turned Serie A Femminile into a two-horse race worth watching, and Roma's derby with Juventus is now the fixture that decides Italian seasons.
