About OL Lyonnes

Lyon's women, rebranded OL Lyonnes in 2025 under Michele Kang's ownership, are the most successful club in the history of women's football: a record eight Champions League titles, including five consecutive from 2016 to 2020.

Ada Hegerberg, the first women's Ballon d'Or winner, Wendie Renard's towering two decades, and an unbroken dynasty of French championships made Lyon the club that professionalised the European women's game by force of example.

The Kang era doubled down, moving marquee fixtures to the Groupama Stadium and rebuilding the squad to take the crown back from Barcelona. In the women's game, every dynasty is measured against Lyon's.
