Qatar claimed the first World Cup point in their history with a 1-1 draw against Switzerland on 13 June. Breel Embolo put Switzerland ahead from the penalty spot in the 17th minute before Boualem Khoukhi equalised deep in stoppage time, in the fifth minute of added time, in the Group B fixture.
